The Kilinochchi Centre head Ramesh ventured into a recycling project using computer hardware such as keyboards, motherboards, and hard drives. Together with the staff, they converted keyboards into pen holders, and hard drives into clocks.

These products will be shared with the rest of the CAL centers island wide. It is an exciting outcome, as we will look into further recycling projects .  It also provides an opportunity to engage children in the importance, and possibilities entailed in recycling. It draws attention to the fact that every person is capable of and can contribute toward safeguarding the planet.
