The ‘Aluth Pola’ (meaning New Market) was a charity event organized by the Justice for Animals charity and hosted by Body Bar Colombo. It was held on Sunday the 16th of August from 10am - 6pm. CAL took the opportunity to participate in this worthy event, and not only did we make some sales of CAL items* but we also received support via donations. The turnout was very good despite the current situation due to the event being well advertised on social media, news articles and radio as well as self-promotion by the vendors themselves. The organizers took particular care to ensure a high level of safety standards in keeping with the COVID guidelines for both vendors and customers alike.
