Our kids need all the fun they can get, so we organised a ‘Singithi Pola’ (Kids’ Fair) getting the kids to learn some basic life skills outside of the classroom. They had a great time helping to set up the little stalls and handled the ‘sales’ of the ‘goods’, giving them a bit of hands-on experience. This was also a great way to bring the whole community together – kids, parents, friends and relations. The fairs were held at our centres in Trinco, Kelaniya and Galle and we hope to do this at the other centres too since everyone enjoyed them so much">
