Mullathivu project

We are excited to announce the opening of a brand-new Centre in Mullativu. We are honored and privileged to partner with World Vision on this new beginning as they aim to jointly raise funds to provide nutritious meals to 100 preschoolers in Mullaitivu for six months. The Mullativu Centre is another step towards reaching out to the most vulnerable children in need in Sri Lanka. With this new centre we hope to make a positive impact in the community on Mullativu and be a shining light to the children of this community.

Kilinochchi CDC Brief

The Kilinochchi centre first commenced its operations in 2012 and currently it serves over 300 children ranging from ages 2 to 18 years. All of the families that we work with in this centre have suffered from the war and are still on a long road to recovery. Many of them are displaced and have suffered mental and physical trauma. Our main goal here has been to provide a space for reconciliation and rehabilitation. Understating the importance of sport and arts for reconciliation and rehabilitation, the centre provides a wide range of activities that helps children to form friendships, gain mental and physical health and also develop social skills as well. The centre as also has hosted many volunteers who are passionate about reconciliation and the importance of giving equal opportunities for all children and creating a better future for the next generation.
