At CAL we encourage embracing different cultures that allow children to experience what it's like to be a part of a community other than their own.  It also gives them cultural awareness and acceptance, which can help break down cultural barriers while interacting with others from different backgrounds. It also facilitates reconciliation and helps them have tolerance towards each other and people of different cultures and societies.  CAL celebrated many celebrations of different cultures in Sri Lanka at the centers focusing on promoting the importance of each among the kids. Therefore at our  centers we celebrate many festivals such as Sinhala and Tamil New Year,  Ramazan, Vesak, Thai Pongal and Easter to promote harmony among races and religions.
