Equal access to resources remains crucial for developing knowledge and providing opportunities for growth and paving the way out of poverty. Amongst these is the disparity in accessibility to IT and related resources. This lack of accessibility was highlighted during the Covid-19 pandemic, when education shifted to online learning, and only a limited number could benefit from this.

•    A computer lab was set up  at the CDC in Batticaloa. With 10 new computers, this will benefit over 500 children at the Batticaloa centre.

•    To mark CAL’s 15th anniversary, fifteen well-performing students at CAL were gifted with smart phones, donated by Dialog Axiata, to facilitate online learning.
