Galle is the capital of the southern province of Sri Lanka found on the southwest tip of Sri Lanka.

It was one of the cities most affected by the 2004 Tsunami when many children became orphans.

10 years later and the people of Galle are still living with the trauma of the Tsunami devastation. Communities personal and intellectual development has been affected.

The second highest under age crimes reported in Sri Lanka are coming from the Southern province.*

Galle is one of the most popular tourist areas in Sri Lanka, so it has a higher tendency for child abuse, corruption and trafficking.
